About Us

Inspired by some of the greatest stories ever told and scored like Terranigma, Golden Sun, Final Fantasy X, Nier:Automata among many others, Paul strives to pay homage to the great adventures he was able to experience growing up to all the amazing, modern games of today, to play a part in the creation of the great stories of today.
Growing up to a jazz bassist father and a mother listening to all sorts of world music, Paul Winter has been accompanied by music from the very beginning.
His mother still tells the story of how while she was pregnant at a concert of her husband, Paul started kicking and moving when a drumsolo hit, so music was with him, before he was even born.
During his former years, he was fascinated by the music he experienced while playing with his first consoles – the SNES and the original Gameboy. While always surrounded by instruments, he only started actively playing an instrument in his teenage years. He fell in love with playing electric guitars, first driven by Pop Punk, Alternative and Melodic Death Metal like Sum 41, System Of A Down and Children Of Bodom, later enthralled by the progressive metal scene like Dream Theater and Nevermore, which made him pick up his first seven string guitar – the original Jeff Loomis’ Schecter.
While growing up, so deepened his appreciation for the art form of video games and their music. Inspired by some of the greatest stories ever told and scored like Terranigma, Golden Sun, Final Fantasy X, Nier:Automata among many others, he now strives to pay homage to the great adventures he was able to experience growing up by contributing to a future generation of gamers and possible musicians by sharing his love for music within his compositions for video games.
Along the way of his musical journey, he played in several local bands, went on a Europe tour and graduated with a degree in audio engineering to satisfy his love for the rock and metal music scene by producing local bands.
Combined with his insatiable curiosity and his skill of being bored easily, Paul strives to consistently challenge himself towards new potential. He now channels everything he has picked up from all these different musical disciplines into a tool, sharpened to further drive the emotional impact of storytelling. Because stories is what we live for. Stories, strive and struggles make humanity.
